Our Thrift Shops

Located in Innerleithen and Jedburgh, our Thrift Shops generate income for Borders Wheels’ community transport services and support their local communities:

A drop in centre for a chat

There is always a friendly atmosphere in the shop – you always see someone to talk to and there is always something going on.

A local information point

We display posters and information about local groups.

Good quality low cost clothing and goods

We only accept good quality clothes and household items, and our low pricing ensures a fast turnover of stock.

Volunteering opportunities

From window dressing to serving customers, if you have a couple of hours to spare, it’s a great way to spend your time and you could be learning new skills!

Your chance to be environmentally friendly

By recycling donated goods, we are cutting down on waste, which can only be a good thing. Surplus books, clothing and shoes are sent to the developing world for re-use or are recycled here and abroad – so nothing is lost.
